The design of the Waldorf is great because, while it does show off a distinctively stylized frame, the theme is simple rather than ornate. This is a refreshing change from more traditional ironwork, which is marked with elaborate finials and fleur-de-lis. The result borders on art deco but stays on the right side of modest.
