I use it on my deck and like the design and comfort. The drawback is rust. Right out of the box there were a few areas of rust that I had to touch-up and after a few days of sitting on our deck, there are several rust areas creeping out from under the overlapping straps that make up the table top. I'm not sure how to get those areas touched up. Disappointing.

I live by the beach and purchased this table and chairs for use on my terrace. The size and height are great, but without the cushions the chairs are very uncomfortable. What disappoints me the most is that it did not stand up to the beach weather. After only one year the table and chairs are beginning to rust. I have attempted to paint it with rustolium but it has been very difficult to get a nice coat on the table and chairs.

      I was concerned when I read some of the previous comments about it being difficult to put together, had rust, cheap looking, etc. We have been looking for a special Bistro set for our off the bedroom patio and thought for the price, let's order it. WOW what a surprise. [...] Easy, let me emphasize EASY to put together. Everything fit perfectly. No signs of rust as other readers had previously alluded to. In one hour it was all assembled and placed on the patio. Looks great. Stepped out of the bedroom this morning and enjoyed a nice cup of coffee while sitting at the Bistro table. Great size, finish and comfort. We would recommend making sure you have cushions, in the brisk morning the seats can be a little cool. This is our first time ordering from Hayneedle. Based on our experience would certainly do business with them again.

        Switching from regular height to "pub" height set gives us a view of the ocean instead of the deck railings - a transformation!
        One big surprise - I was sure a black set would be too hot to touch in bright sunlight. Not so! The metal "basketweave" table top and seating surfaces stay cool with just the slightest breeze.

        A: Unfortunately, we do not sell the chairs for the Scroll Pub Height Bistro Set individually.

        Q2: What is the weight capacity of each chair?

        A: The weight capacity of each stool is 250 pounds.

        Q3: The space where I would like to put this set is 7 feet in length. Will this set fit there and will we be able to comfortably move the chairs to get in and out of them?

        A: The total feet length is almost 5 feet so you will have room to move the chairs out.

        Q4: What is the actual color? Is it in the brown, bronze family?

        A: The finish color is black.
