We are using these chairs at our kitchen counter. They are sturdy, but as with any online shopping, you can't check quality and there are some marks and variations that we would have returned if bought in a local store. Didn't want to deal with the hassle of return shipping.

Back rest should be higher, it rests at an uncomfortable spot on your back. We needed to replace our old chairs quickly as one broke and when I saw these I thought they would be good for an interim replacement.

If you like high-end merchandise, you won't want these. They will be good for a few years though.

      I especially like that the counter chairs swivel, but yet don't swing back in place by themselves. These chairs are perfect for my newly renovated kitchen in my over 150 year old home. This renovation was necessitated by the flooding of Hurricane Irene in August 2011.

              A: The seat and the swivel base that connects the legs and seat together are the only natural finished parts. The back and the legs are white.
