These are a beautiful cheery stain and the finish is way above normal for the price. The cherry stain is a match to our island and they blend almost to the point of disappearing when tucked tight to the island. Pull them out to use and they are lovely to look at and the perfect height and comfortable too. We are thrilled. We just sent back very nice stools that were over $109 each because they were too big and ended up getting these 4 perfect size stools for the total of [$] delivered.

The seats do swivel and they make some noise so I would like to know if they be oiled so that they are quieter.

        These are used at my kitchen counter bar. The color is a little less honey-colored and a little darker than I thought. When you swivel, you hear a "rubbing together" of the swivel component, but I think it will go away with time or some WD40. Otherwise, this is a great little stool for the money. They come assembled, which was a plus!

          Two of the seats were scratced prior to shipping as the plastic covering was not damaged or the shipping boxes. I would hope that your quality controll is better than that but I guess not.
