Good stools, painful to assemble.
These stools look good at our breakfast bar and are very comfy. I recommend them, however be ready for a difficult assembly. It took my wife and I 1 hour per stool to assemble...Read complete review
These stools look good at our breakfast bar and are very comfy. I recommend them, however be ready for a difficult assembly. It took my wife and I 1 hour per stool to assemble (we bought 4) and we ended up with cut hands and fingers. We both do plenty of home improvement projects, so we were surprised at the difficulty of the assembly even with power tools. The seat backs are most difficult to attach since you have to put your entire body weight on them to bend them into place. The seat backs still require more tightening after assembly. But, now that they are assembled we are happy with them.

They were delivered on time. After checking each piece for quality, there were NO problems. Assembly was a bit tedious at first but with the 2nd, 3rd and 4th stools it become quite simple. They are more substantial than expected. Our ONLY negative is the color was alittle different than the picture on line it's more maple than oak. We'll work around it since the base that's being made is unfinished oak, it's certainly matchable. We'd recommend this product and Hayneedle to anyone

I love them. They were fairly easy to assemble and seem very sturdy and look beautiful. I had some issues with the wrong items being shipped and your customer service department was fast and efficient in getting out the correct item and assisting me with an effortless return.

Loved the barstools and the prompt delivery. The color was suppose to be honey oak, but looks more like orange oak. Will have to paint them.

This item looked good in the photo but was defective. The rear side of the backrest (the exposed part) had been damaged and was repaired with a reddish glue that was very obvious. And there were black ink drippings down the rear of the backrest. But Hayneedle is a very reliable company. I called to report the damage and the amount I paid was immediately refunded to my credit card.
