I just had my kitchen countertops replaced with granite and I had the top of the peninsular extended to form a bar. These stools look great with the richness of the granite. They look much more expensive than their actual cost - the faux leather looks as good or better than some of the real leather stools I saw in stores. Just as an added note - I did a lot of comparative shopping - in stores and on-line and this purchase was definitely the best bargain I found, by far. Good construction too, BTW.

The problem. I bought 4 stools this fall and have used only for evening family dinners and a couple of days over the holidays. One of the stools has a broken spring in the seat after Christmas.(Note no one in my family is over 200 lbs that sits on the stools). My family now sits gingerly in the others hoping the springs don't shear when we are sitting on them. My ten year old thought the stool was breaking when it "popped" while she was sitting on it. It's not that I paid a fortune for them. I had just read high ratings for such a great price. All this aside, they are very comfortable, eye appealing, and super easy to clean. I guess you get what you pay for. Went budget, when I should have stayed mid-range.

I purchased these counter stools for our new home. I work for a company where we can purchase the stools at a discounted price but this value was even better. They are very comfortable and were very easy to assemble! The material, although faux leather, feels like real leather, I was very impressed and happy with this purchase.

Very pretty and elegant chairs... they look very classy! They were difficult to assemble however... the instructions were vague and some of the foot railings didn't line up right. One of the pegs came off when I tried to take it back out of its hole. But after they are put together, they are beautiful!

We bought these stools to go around our kitchen island. The seat when you sit in it just sinks right down, like there isn't anything supporting you. I think they would be fine for a little while, but these will be highly used stools for us so we are going to purchase something else that is stronger.
