      We are using these barstools by the counter that separates the kitchen from the family room. I bought them knowing that I would immediately re-cover the seats to match my family room. Recovering was so easy and they look great. We've only used them for a few weeks, but they are sturdy and seem like they will last for a good while.

      My husband who has difficulty standing for long periods of time wanted a stool to use in the kitchen. The stool's cherry wood finish almost matches the kitchen cabinets. The stool seat is quite wide, easily accommodates my husband and seems very comfortable. The heaviness of the stool may be an advantage as it is unlikely to tip over. [...]Did not have much problem removing plastic covering over fabric. Very happy with the stool.

      Love these stools. No assembly required. Beautiful and comfortable. The only con is the protective plastic wrapping that was applied to the seat cushion for shipping. It took us hours to remove the plastic off of 4 chairs completely. It wouldn't stop me from buying the stools because they are absoultely perfect for us but perhaps the manufacturer could adjust how they apply the plastic protective cover?
