We looked for something that would look nice at our bar and go with the lodge decor. The only thing we don't like is the cushions smell very bad like varnish or something. The smell was so bad it gave us terrible headaches but we sprayed them and now they are a little better. They are large so if you are purchasing several, you may want to measure first. All things considered, I would recommend these.

Just remodeled the Kitchen, floors w/ feldstone,rustic, kitchen w/ maple cupboards in light wood color, walls and drapes in shade of tans, stainless steel appliances, we have multicolor tiles backsplash and multishade desk and countertops, this swivel chair was for the "work" desk newly installed in the kitchen, at counter level, the color of the wood matched our cupboards exactly, and the brown seat compliments the tans and browns in the walls and flooring. The swivel chair seat looks like a nice expensive leather/cowgrain seat, and feels like suede, smooth! This chair is perfect in every way for our purpose and room, Thank-you

This has the perfect rustic look for our log cabin. It matches the flow of the open room perfectly. At first, I was leary as I heard the stool "creaking" but it is holding up fine (even with a rowdy teenage son). We purchased one to make sure, now we are purchasing 2 more.
