I remodeled my kitchen and purchased a beautiful dinette set and 6 chairs. I wanted matching chairs for the island counter. There were two kinds of counter chairs: one with no arms and no swivel, and one with arms and swivel. I paid the extra bucks and got the swivel, and I'm so glad I did. The seats are extra wide; the arms make them more comfortable, and the swivel makes it so easy to turn from facing the kitchen to facing the table. There's even a foot bar which gives even more comfort. The stairs are very sturdy, and the [...] men assembled them so I didn't have to! I just had to put felt pads on the bottom of the legs so they wouldn't scratch my wood floors. So far so good! I love the rustic look, and the comfort and style can't be beat. They are also easy to wipe clean. My kids already spilled soda and food on the seats, but you'd never know it! I am very happy with my purchase.
