      The stools were pretty much as expected, although the seat was bigger around than I had pictured. Hard to predict how well they will hold up at this point, but seem sturdy enough now. I think they are what to expect for this price point - decent quality and appearance without a huge wow factor.

        We were looking for a low-cost padded swivel stool. After searching a number of sources, this appeared to be the best one based on the pictures. All of the pics were of the bar-height version, so after assembling, the "squatiness" of this counter-height stool took us a bit by surprise -- it has a very large seat for its height. We are, however, very pleased. Seems sturdy and looks great. A bit concerned that the seat is attached to the swivel base with four wood screws -- hope it lasts. If seat material wears out it will be easy to replace.
