This counter stool is protected with a catalyzed polyurethane finish to help guard against nicks and scratches. Space between stool legs measures 12.75-inches. Several finish options are available. The hidden swivel design of this counter stool only engages when weight or pressure is applied to the seat. This safety feature prevents the stool from moving unexpectedly. Due to the exceptional quality of the swivel device found on this counter stool, it is common that the swivel mechanism will initially be a little tight. A drop of household lubricant can be used to loosen the swiveling action creating a more enjoyable stool. Indoor use only.
