Purchased these bar stools for my counter height kitchen island and they look great. I was so concerned about the height of the seat that I neglected to think about the height of the top of the back rest. I originally ordered a stool that the top of the back rest would have just been 1/2 inch over the counter top. After waking in my sleep and realizing that I wouldn't have liked the look of that, I changed my order to this stool. I must say, I was right on! These stand several inches above the height of the countertop and look as I think they should. The previous ones that I had order (and thank goodness had not been shipped)would have been too short for my taste. These were easy to put together, they are sturdy and attractive. All my interest seemed to be in the $300 and above range until I saw these. They are perfect. Don't get me wrong, the vinyl seat is what it is, but the stool itself looks good and for the price, you can't beat it. I purchased an extra one in case one of these breaks, seat rips, or just to have an extra seat, etc. I'm satisfied. Thanks

We love the way the chairs look in our Kitchen. It is a nice upgrade that didn't break the bank! And they are very comfortable. The only negative was that you have to assemble them w/an allen wrench that is not long enough for an adult hand. If you don't like using allen wrenches then buy them some place else.

First time I have used Hayneedle. Product was everything it promised to be! We love them! I love the high end products and appreciate being able to afford them on a strict budget. They beat anything we saw in any of the furniture stores! Shipping time was awesome! Ordered on a Sunday night. Received my email confirming and they were shipped on Wednesday and delivered on Friday ahead of the projected delivery time! Easy to assemble. My husband had 2 assembled in about an hour and 15 minutes. Instructions easy to read, and very concise. Only wish they had been available in 26 inch but 24 inch works. They look absolutely wonderful with our black granite countertop. Back is comfortable, they swivel easy, and very sturdy. I will most certainly use Hayneedle again and highly recommend these counter stools to anyone!

I was really hesitant to purchase stools on-line without knowing if they were comfortable or not. After reading the reviews I took the chance. The reviews were 100% correct. They look high end and I am a high-end shopper on a budget! They are a Great addition to my newly remodeled kitchen and I couldn't be happier!
