This stool is the family favorite. We have two backless stools and two of these, and the Monaco stool is by far everyone's favorite. It's comfortable, great looking and a terrific value. Rich dark brown wood and seat covers look great in our new open layout kitchen / family room. It gets us through the dreaded homework hour in comfort!

Not too tricky to put together. Looks nice, but... One out of the three we ordered is damaged and they are pretty wobbly

Ordered 2, 1 came in with a damaged leg. built fairly well, but had to assemble myself. For price, would recommend. Hayneedle has been awesome with getting purchases quickly to house, and dealing with returns (if necessary)!

My husband worked for three hours trying to assemble the stool.He finally gave up when one screw just wouldn't fit and we are returning the others unopened.
