The air lift adjustment does not work correctly. When you sit down the stool lowers without even using the lowering adjustment. The fabric on the inside back is loose and not molded to the back. I would not recommend this bar stool.

I have severe back problems and am no longer able to stand to do much in the kitchen. I wanted this stool to sit on so that I could still try to do as much as I could in the kitchen. It is so hard to get up from a chair and I love this as it is tall enough that I can get up easily.
I do not find the foot rest to stick out far enough to be that comfortable and wish it had been larger.
All in all I am very pleased with the stool and would recommend it.

Assembly was quick and easy. The little piece that covers the area where the chair meets the base is plastic, but nobody will ever touch that anyway. The chair is a little smaller than I expected, but very nice overall. I ended up buying a 3rd one because I was so happy with the first 2 that I purchased.

The stools were beautiful and good quality however they sink about 6 inches once you sit on them. If you need the seat to be 30" to eat comfortably at your counter these are not for you. Best for lower counters.
