We just completed an expensive kitchen remodel project. We use these bar stools in the kitchen at our extended center island that is counter height (36"). A 24" stool would have been too low. The 26" height is perfect. These are sturdy stools, with wrought iron legs, well constructed. Assembly took about 20 minutes per stool. We purchased 5. No missing parts. No problems at all. These are high-end stools, stylish, with excellent design details. The stools closely match the pictures on the web site. We recommend them without reservation.

The styling is very attractive, however, I have never seen a counter stool so wide in the seat. It is uncomfortable because of it being so large. It looked out of place at my kitchen island made for 3 stools, so I had to return them for 15" diameter stools which look so much better.

The packaging was excellent. All the bolts, lock washers, and plain washers were neatly packed and correct count for all 4 counter stools. I assembled all 4 in about 2 hours

Service and delivery comments:

These counter stools have improved the look of our kitchen 100%! When moving into a new home a year ago, we foolishly bought other, cheap counter stools and I've hated them ever since. I finally couldn't take the old ones any longer and spent a lot of time online picking the best replacement for them. I'm so glad I picked these. The bronze finish is gorgeous and the seats are so sturdy and comfortable. I have 4 young kids, and even the youngest who's 2 can climb right up without the chair even budging. The base is nice and wide so I can't imagine a scenario where she would be able to pull the chair over on top of her. And you know how kids are always tipping their chairs back onto 2 legs? Again the nice wide base makes this very hard to do. I was a bit hesitant about another reviewer's comment that the seats were actually too big, but we do not find that to be the case -- and again that includes my kids who spend a lot of time sitting in them. And I haven't even mentioned the fact that the seat covers are so easy to keep clean -- another must with kids. The one "con" I include in this review is that only 1 of the boxes contained assembly directions. We bought 4 stools, and thankfully the first one we opened is the one that had the instructions in them so it didn't cause us any problems. All in all, we couldn't be happier!
