i became very sick and still can not stand very long. i have put this stool in my kitchen so i can sit and dice food while cooking. it is great because it adjusts to my height and it turns. i wish it had a heavier base so that it wouldn't move so easily.

I really liked these stools. Just make sure to take off the black cap it really doesn't come with much instructions but I guess you really don't need them if the first box u open doesn't have the cap stuck inside the chrome tube where the lever is suppose to press the gas lift. After we figured it out they were very easy to assemble. I would recommend this to a friend.

We purchased three of these stools less than a year ago to go around the island of our remodeled kitchen. Honestly when we first received them, we should have sent them back. The parts are far from quality, but I guess you get what you pay for. The ring that sits between the base and the pole is actually made of cheap chromed plastic that serves no function. We also had to add felt strips to the bases of all three stools because they are unfinished metal and would have scratched up the floors. After only nine months of use all three stools now wobble from the pole connected to the bases and the bases themselves are covered with rust marks. The kitchen is kept clean and the bases are lightly cleaned every couple of weeks so I have NO idea why this problem should be happening. The seats themselves have held up well and are comfortable but unfortunately those are the only pros about these stools. Best advice-- save your money and invest in stationary stools or higher quality swivel stools.
