This stool was the right height for my kitchen island and matches the design of my kitchen chairs. i am NOT a handy person, but the stools were easy for me to assemble. They are heavy which is both a pro and a con: somewhat cumbersome to move around, but very sturdy and stable. I'm a bit worried about the legs scratching the floor, but so far no problems.

Assembled three in half an hour. A couple rocked a little but legs can be adjusted. They are PERFECT for our kitchen island!
