I think part of the problem was that they arrived damaged and were very wobbly on the base. Also when I sat on the stool, it sank a couple of inches. I weigh 150 lbs. Had to return.

This is the third one that we bought for the kitchen bar. Very beautiful lines and more sturdy than it may appear in the picture. Another big plus is that it comes already assembled!

The sleek line of this barstool is beautiful in my contemporary home! It is the perfect size to fit at my bar in the kitchen. It may not give the appearance, but it is also very sturdy. It has been quite the conversation piece when guests come over! I love it so much I intend to order another one today.

Love this counter height stool (can be used at table & bar height as well) for its design style. Overall the piece looks good and is comfortable even though it has no cushioning. The height of the back is ample enough for lower back support. I ordered them in the color Rust which lends itself to a more honey tone than orange which works perfectly with my warm toast colored bamboo flooring. I selected this design also because of the large flat base which adds stability and less risk of being dragged across the wood floor. I am using these for seating at my kitchen island. I am unsure how comfortable they will be over an extended period of sitting, but then again I am not using them at a dining table where you tend to be seated for longer periods. If you are looking for a contemporary stool with the "WOW" factor, look no further. I received my stools undamaged and earlier than estimated and required NO ASSEMBLING which is a major plus in my book! BRAVO Barstools.com!!!
