It is extremely light which is both a blessing and a curse. Hope it holds up, since I'm a rather big guy and the chairs can't weigh more than 10 lbs. each.

Q1: Are the joints welded? Is the aluminum anodized?
A: The joints are welded, and they are powder coat painted with a matte finish, aluminum color.
