Counter Stool Use

Counter stools are typically used in kitchens, next to a kitchen island or underneath a taller kitchen dining counter. Counter-height dining tables have become more common, so counter stools have recently become much more popular.

Kitchen counter stools add a casual accent to your kitchen dining area. Whether you choose a relaxed, backless, or more formal style, the kitchen counter stool makes it easier to socialize with an extra place for seating.

Bar stools and counter stools are very similar, so you will want to measure the height of your dining area before choosing which one will be more appropriate. If the counter measures between 35 and 37 inches tall, then a counter stool, with a seat height between 24 and 26 inches, will be your best seating option.
