I bought two of these stools to use at our kitchen island/bar. They look great and are the perfect height for a tall bar.
The quality of the wood is good. They are nice and sturdy. However, I do have a couple of complaints about the quality of these stools.
1. The base for the legs, attached to the bottom of the stool, is noticeably crooked on one of the stools. As a result, it sits kind of crooked--in other words, when the legs are pushed in against the bar, the seat is not straight and parallel to the bar like it should be. I'm the type of person who notices things like this. I doubt guests to my house ever will.
2. We used an electric drill to tighten the screws instead of the included manual allen wrench. It just about stripped a couple of them because the metal at the end of the screws was so soft. We managed to make it work, but it wasn't as easy as it could have been.
Overall, this was a great purchase for the price, and I'd recommend them to anyone in the market for affordable, simple barstools.

You need hands of iron to tighten the screws adequately for assembly of these stools, but after enough perseverance, your efforts will pay off. They are solid, 100% wood, and elegant. Great for the price!.

Great value and looks! They are a little uneven but will fix with an extra pad on the bottom of one of the legs. Very comfortable - best deal for the money!
