This product is made of Rubberwood, a tropical hardwood descending from the Maple family, and native to Thailand. It is a dense grain wood that is commonly used in furniture manufacturing due to its versatility and durability. Eco-friendly, its wood is only used after the tree has stopped its latex-producing cycle and the tree has died, thus there is no need to harvest live trees.
