There was a problem with the chairs arriving damaged when the back piece rubbed through the cheap cardboard packaging and marred the wood. It took four shipment attempts, three returns but I finally got four undamaged bar stools that look very nice. The seat pads are thick and comfortable, and the finish is dark and rich. Some of the bolts are hard to tighten. Customer service was great dealing with the damaged pieces (Thanks Jennifer!)

Nice finish, smooth swivel, look great at my bar. Some of the bolts are pretty hard to get the allen wrench on and using a power drill or driver is not an option on most of the bolts either due to the tight, so plan on spending about 30-45 minutes each to assemble and getting a few hand cramps (and I'm am pretty handy!)

Service and delivery comments:

I ordered four bar stools and the first shipment, one box was damaged and luckily I was present when FEDEX delivered so I rejected the order and emailed customer service who reshipped the order promptly. The second order was delivered quickly. Unfortunately, I was not present this time and one box had worn through in two areas damaging the back piece finish on one bar stool. If the packaging was just a little tougher/thicker in that area, this would not happen! I'm contacting customer service again to get the one replaced, so hopefully it will get delivered undamaged.
