I needed six stools & for the price & style they were easily affordable. they look great & tuck under the bar real nice. they seem real sturdy & its nice to have the swivel, so my hardwood floors take less of a beating from people having to slide the stool around so much.

I initially bought the product so i can sit upright at my counter. Here's the problem, while I am sitting I move back while I am eating! I didn't want a rocker but it seems i got one because one of the legs is shorter then the other. Furthermore, I thought the swivel was going to be smooth and easy to use, not so. It basically clicks every inch or two that you swivel around. Also and most importantly the foot bar is EXTREMELY AWKWARDLY PLACED. Unless your a midget you cannot comfortably fit your legs and feet on the foot bar. So what happens is that you end up having your feet dangling or you end up sitting like a frog with one leg on each side, right and left, of the chair.
I ended up thinking I was getting a bargain but since these chairs are useless I really lost money. They say you get what you pay for and here that's not true because I got NOTHING! Spend the extra couple of backs and get something useful.

We are so very happy with our Barstools. They are exactly what we needed. Came fully assempled. Very pleased with the quality. There was freight damage BUT one phone call and I received the most excellent customer service with an immediate credit and sending new one out immediately. Can't beat the price either for a set of 2. Definitely would recommend these and Hayneedle was wonderful to deal with.
