We used these at our kitchen countertop and they have a beautiful honey spice color that matches the cabinets. The swivel allows users to spin allowing them to be used as seating for the kitchen and the adjacent game room. These are perfect for entertaining as guests can eat and drink at the couter as well as participate in pool, darts and conversations in the game room. It's great informal seating in the kitchen for a meal or to chat with family and friends while preparing dinner. Chair is comfortable even without a cushion and arms add a nice support. They appear to have a sturdy ring at the base for support which has been a problem with bar stools we've had in the past.

Purchased these stools as a housewarming gift. My mom loved the overall design and they are perfect for her breakfast bar. Slips right in under the counter, very functional and comfortable. We just added a seat pad, perfect!

The barstools are beautiful and they are sturdy - they fit our kitchen and our bar perfectly. The hard part was the assembly. The instructions for assembly weren't for the typical rookie - they were for someone who knows how to put together furniture.
