      I use them at teh bar of my kitchen. Looks great and easy to assemble. The only thing is that depending on how you sit, the chair cracks and creaks a little.

      I received the 3 barstools I ordered for my kitchen today. They arrived undamaged and quickly which I appreciate. Unfortunately, they are a little less "hardy" than they appear in the picture. I imagined chunky black wooden backs, the trim wood is ok, but the scroll design is made of a thin chap looking wood/ wood substitute. So I am slightly disappointed. They are pleasing to the eye from afar, but not as dramatic or elegant as I expected up close. We like to entertain and often sit around the kitchen island, Im afraid that the thin wood will be easily cracked pr broken. So far they are not worth the price to me, but are fine temporarily while I look for a more expensive looking barstool. These are perfect for apartments, or small understated kitchens looking for .a budget friendly sprucing.. but not if you're going for a dramatic eye catching affect. They just look cheap. They are also not as tall as indicated. The seat is 29" but the barstool back is about 3" shorter than quoted.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
