Measure your space and table height, then keep the following guidelines for stationary stools in mind. Remember, adjustable height stools allow even more flexibility.
- Bar height stools have seats that are 29-32 inches high to pair with a table top that is 41-43 inches high.
- Counter height stools have seats that are 23-28 inches high to pair with a table or counter that is 35-37 inches high.
